Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2020

January 18, 2020 - January 25, 2020

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is traditionally observed from the 18th to the 25th January – the octave of St. Peter and St. Paul. However, some areas observe it at Pentecost or some other time.

This year the materials for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity have been prepared by the Churches in Malta and Gozo (Christians Together in Malta),  These can be found on the website for Churches Together in Britain and Ireland here  .

Churches Together in Hertfordshire unites in pilgrimage those churches in the area which, acknowledging God’s revelation in Christ, confess the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord according to the Scriptures, and in obedience to God’s will and in the power of the Holy Spirit commit themselves:
To seek a deepening of their communion with Christ and with one another
in the Church, which is his body; and
To fulfil their mission to proclaim the Gospel by common witness and service in the world:

To the glory of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
