World Mental Health Day 2019 Suicide Prevention

November 7 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Every 40 seconds someone loses their life to suicide.

This should be as much a concern to us as it surely is to God so all are warmly invited to an evening discussion on this challenging but important topic. Come and hear what Hertfordshire is doing to support those with suicidal thoughts through ‘Spot the Signs’. Start thinking what you can do as individuals and as churches.

Facilitated by

Revd Sue Stilwell, Chaplain with MHA (Methodist Homes) and a member of the Bishop’s Hatfield clergy team and

Revd Richard Allen, Lead chaplain and spiritual care manager at HPFT, the local NHS Mental Health Trust.

Churches Together in Hertfordshire unites in pilgrimage those churches in the area which, acknowledging God’s revelation in Christ, confess the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord according to the Scriptures, and in obedience to God’s will and in the power of the Holy Spirit commit themselves:
To seek a deepening of their communion with Christ and with one another
in the Church, which is his body; and
To fulfil their mission to proclaim the Gospel by common witness and service in the world:

To the glory of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
