What are L.E.Ps

Local Ecumenical Partnerships are where:
there is a formal written agreement affecting the ministry,
congregational life, buildings and/or mission projects of
more than one denomination: and a recognition of that
agreement by the Sponsoring Body (in this case - CTH) and
authorisation by the appropriate denominational authorities.

There are different kinds of LEPs and most are either:

1. A single congregation from two or more denominations

2. A Covenanted Partnership, where each denomination
worships in its own building but has a strong commitment
to united witness and ministry

3. A Shared Building Partnership where there is a legal
agreement to use one church building by more than one
   denomination.

There can also be Chaplaincy, Mission and Education Partnerships
