The AGM next year will be held at the Coptic Cathedral in Stevenage and we hope to be able to arrange a look round at this almost new centre for worship and to have its features explained to us.
But apart from this and the business of the evening, our speaker will be Major Melvyn Ackroyd who is a full time chaplain at London Heathrow. As he says, ‘what minister has a potential congregation of 80,000 people?’ He will illustrate his talk with pictures of the work being carried out by him and the chaplaincy team.
